Is the original link hidden until the password is entered?
Yes. The unlock page only shows a password field. Visitors are redirected to the original address only after they enter the correct password.
How is my password stored?
Whisser stores the destination address and a one-way hash of the password, not the password itself. Passwords can be up to 128 characters long.
How long do protected links last?
Links created without signing in expire one month after they are created. Links created while signed in to a Whisser account last three months. Expired links stop working and are removed automatically.
Is Link Locker free?
Yes. Link Locker is free to use, and you do not need an account to create a protected link.
Can I share a protected link as a QR code?
