Flip a coin, roll dice or pick random numbers, fairly. Free
About the Random Generator
Whisser Random Generator gives you three fair ways to decide: flip a coin for heads or tails, roll one to six dice from d4 to d100, or pick random numbers in any range for raffles, games and classroom picks. Every result comes from your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator with unbiased sampling, and nothing is sent to a server.
How to use
- Choose Coin, Dice or Number at the top.
- Coin: press Flip coin or the Space bar and watch the coin land on heads or tails. The tally tracks your flips and streaks.
- Dice: pick how many dice and which type, then press Roll dice to see each die and the total.
- Number: enter the minimum, maximum and how many numbers you need, choose No repeats or Sort results, then press Generate and copy the list.
- Check the History panel to review your last 20 results.
Frequently asked questions
Is the coin flip really 50/50?
Yes. Each flip uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, so heads and tails are equally likely and every flip is independent of the ones before it. Streaks of five or more in a row are normal over many flips.
Which dice can I roll?
You can roll up to six dice at once and choose d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100. Six-sided dice show classic pips, and you see each individual result as well as the total after every roll.
How do I pick random numbers without repeats?
Open the Number tab, set the minimum, maximum and how many numbers you need, and keep No repeats switched on. Every number in the range has an equal chance and none appears twice, which suits raffles and lottery-style picks.
How random are the results?
All three tools use crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, which removes the small bias that simple random methods can introduce. The results are fair for games, giveaways, classroom picks and everyday decisions.
Can I see my previous results?
Yes. The History panel lists your last 20 flips, rolls and numbers. History and your coin tally are saved only in this browser, and Clear removes them.
Is the random generator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and works on phones, tablets and computers.
