About the Case Converter

Whisser Case Converter changes the capitalization of any text in one tap: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case and more, plus programming styles such as camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case. Clean-up tools remove extra spaces, line breaks and duplicate lines or sort lines alphabetically. It runs entirely in your browser, so your text stays private.

How to use

  1. Type or paste your text into the editor.
  2. Tap a case, such as Title Case or snake_case. To change only part of the text, select it first.
  3. Use Clean up to fix spacing, join lines, remove duplicates or sort lines.
  4. Tap Undo if you change your mind, then copy the result or download it as a TXT file.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalized Case?

Capitalized Case capitalizes the first letter of every word. Title Case follows headline style: short words such as a, an, the, and, of and to stay lowercase unless they start or end the title, and acronyms like NASA are kept.

What are camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case?

They are naming styles used in programming. camelCase joins words with capitals (userName), PascalCase also capitalizes the first word (UserName), snake_case uses underscores (user_name), kebab-case uses hyphens (user-name) and CONSTANT_CASE uses capitals with underscores (USER_NAME). Each line is converted separately.

Can I convert only part of my text?

Yes. Select some text in the editor and the next conversion applies only to the selection. Without a selection, the whole text is converted.

Can I undo a conversion?

Yes. Tap Undo in the message that appears after a conversion, or use the undo button above the editor. The last 50 changes can be undone.

Does it work with accents and other languages?

Yes. Letters with accents and other alphabets such as Greek and Cyrillic are converted using your browser's Unicode rules. Scripts without upper and lower case, such as Chinese, are left unchanged.

Is my text uploaded?

No. All conversions run in your browser. A draft is kept in this browser's local storage so it survives a refresh, and Clear removes it.
